Aliza (Ah-lies-ah) Prodaniuk (Prod-nick) is a Canadian crime fiction writer. She is a graduate of the MFA in Writing program at the University of Saskatchewan, where her thesis featured a Gothic Crime Fiction Novel exploring the relationship between the law and the uncolonized wilderness in Sarnia, Ontario. She is now working hard on the third draft of her book under the mentorship of J. Kent Messum.

Besides writing, Aliza is the part-owner of Anita Coffee, which serves specialty tea and coffee on the shore of Lake Huron, and the weird genre fiction publication BTWN Magazine. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her cats, lying on the beach, art, and travelling.
